We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist who would join us and bring us to the new heights when it comes to Applied AI in Tenant Experience. 

We are a prop-tech company with deep ties into financials, e-commerce, and communication. We are heavy on integrations with other services but also building our own solutions, which gives us a market advantage.

Our platform is used by our end-users – the tenants. They can pay rent, communicate with landlords, report issues, follow energy consumption, and much more.

We are market leaders in tenant experience, with hundreds of thousands users.

We are 25 people working at Avy today.

The Role

You would be our first in-house AI/ML person and you would work very closely with different stakeholders to create and define value out of data we have.

• Master’s/PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern AI frameworks and libraries (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Strong experience in working with large datasets and applying machine learning/AI techniques.
• Knowledge of MLOps and experience in deploying production-grade AI systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT,
  BERT, or similar technologies, and their application in natural language
  understanding and generation.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and predict data trends and patterns.
• Ownership of data models from development to implementation, including performance monitoring and optimization.
• Proactive in data-driven product development, collaborating with stakeholders like Product Owners, Chief Product Officers, and Customer Success Managers.
• Experience in working within an Agile development environment and familiarity with Scrum methodologies (desirable).
• At least 3 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably within a SaaS or tech-oriented business.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data privacy and security best practices in a SaaS environment.
